As I look back on my first year as a teacher, I see tremendous growth. What started as excitement has turned into a journey of learning and discovery. I've faced challenges, learned from them, and become a better educator because of it.

This portfolio is a snapshot of my strength, progress, and the passion I have for teaching.

Welcome!

A Year of Remarkable Growth in Teaching

In just one year, I've witnessed significant growth in my journey as a teacher, fueled by the cultivation of my strengths in the classroom:

I've become skilled at building strong relationships with my students, making them feel supported and valued in the classroom.
I've learned to create lessons and assessment tools that fit each student's needs, ensuring everyone gets help.
I have built a routine that helped me better my lesson delivery.
I improved my classroom management wherein I tailor on the needs and abilities of my students. I developed a shared responsibility with students for resolving conflict and creating and maintaining a caring classroom community. Supports students in taking leadership in developing a caring community that is responsive to the diverse cultural norms of identities of all students.
My students' engagement and lesson delivery was improved, in a way that students were actively involved in a non-stop activities in class such as project-making and slide creation.
I've learned to become patient, flexible, adaptable in the midst of challenges. This year has been full of challenges, but I've faced them head-on and come out a better teacher because of it.
I have learned to reflect and evaluate my teaching and the content of my lessons. I would ask questions like "What have I done wrong?, What can I do to improve it?, How can I make it better?"
Integrate a variety of technologies into the development, implementation, analysis of assessments, and communication of student learning to all audiences, giving various ways for students to learn.

Evidence of
Effective Teaching

To enhance my teaching, I applied several strategies in the classroom. First, I introduced a token system to reinforce positive behavior and encourage collaboration among students. Offering frequent praise and encouragement was another key approach to boost students' morale and reinforce desired behaviors. I structured regular break times and kept a record to ensure consistency and accountability. Moreover, I developed a visual schedule outlining our daily activities, which helped students understand and prepare for the day ahead. Additionally, I utilized visual aids for classroom management, such as cues and reminders, to support students in following expectations and maintaining a structured learning environment. These combined efforts aimed to create an inclusive and supportive classroom conducive to academic and social growth.
